Das letzte, was er jetzt gebrauchen konnte, war seine brüllende Tochter, die von den ekligen Geräuschen wach wurde. Aber Upandal sei Dank schaffte er es ohne eine Mucks in sein Arbeitszimmer und schloss die Tür hinter sich.
Der Jahreswechsel war erst vor einigen Tage und dem entsprechend sind die Tage noch sehr kurz. Nach einigem Tasten fand er die Kerze neben der Tür und entzündete sie mit einem magischen Anzünder. Augenblicklich erschien sein Arbeitszimmer oder „Raum, der jeder Ordnung trotzt“, wie seine Frau ihn bezeichnete, in einem warmen Licht.
Der Zwerg stapfte zu seinem Schreibtisch, schob den Ledersessel zur Seite und setzte sich. Der altgediente Stuhl knarrte protestierend unter dem plötzlichen Gewicht, aber er hielt stand. Thurlim legte seine mitgebrachten Unterlagen auf den niedrigsten Stapel, der bereits auf dem Tisch vorhanden war und konzentrierte sich dann auf den noch heißen Salbeitee mit Honig, den seine Frau aufgebrüht hatte. Er duftete himmlisch, aber noch ehe er den ersten Schluck nehmen konnte, überkam ihn ein erneuter Hustenanfall und er hatte Mühe, die Tasse auf den Tisch zu stellen, ohne ihren Inhalt komplett zu verschütten.
Einige Minuten und diverse Brocken ausgehusteten Schleims, der jeglicher Beschreibung spottet, später atmete Thurlim tief durch und trank seinen Tee. Er quälte sich schon seit zwei Wochen mit dieser Erkältung rum, aber allmählich wurde es besser.
Dieser Abend war der erste seit langem und er wollte ihn nutzen, um endlich die Aufzeichnung dieser merkwürdigen, saisonal auftauchenden und immer winterlich angehauchten magischen Erscheinungen zu vervollständigen. Also riss er sich zusammen und schlug seine Unterlagen auf. Insgesamt kam er auf 24 Erscheinungen und er hatte auch schon die Zeichnungen erhalten, die er in Auftrag gegeben hatte. Es fehlte also nur noch die Beschreibung.
„Na dann, fangen wir…“ trieb er sich selbst an, musste aber erneut schwer husten. Es würde wohl doch etwas länger dauern.

These are the settings we have used to get perfect prints on our printers. Printers vary as do different types of filaments and how prints behave in different types of weather! You will need to get comfortable with your printer and how it prints in the hot, cold, and humidity. Regardless of the printer you choose, I recommend keeping your room cool and dry. I also, highly recommend using Hatchbox PLA. It may cost a bit more but it’s 100% worth it. Seriously.

In 1997, Guardians of Order published Big Eyes Small Mouth, which became an important milestone in the quirky history of anime-inspired tabletop RPGs. In 2006, the company imploded and the founder disappeared for a while.
