Ambient Environments: Soundtracks for RPG Settings brings you their first installment from the Fantasy Collection, Vol. 1, "The Dungeon Crawlers" soundtrack, Part 3. This soundtrack was created to bring life to any dungeon setting. While some tracks provide generic drones and ambiance, others have specific purposes in mind. Each can be mixed and matched to provide variety when playing them during an RPG, War Game, LARP session or for any other situation you can find (if you use them for a dinner party, we want to hear about it).
Each track is 10 minutes in length! You get 40 minutes of ambient soundtracks for your RPG settings!
TRACK LIST:
- Creature Dwelling (TIME 10:00): Deep ambient resonating textures. Cavernous echoes and low drone with airy wind-like sounds, like a breeze drifting past cobwebs. Creatures in here are plentiful.
- Catacombs (TIME: 10:00): Airy ambient textures with slight musical embellishments and whispers. There are many ghostly creature sound effects.
- The Tunnels Deep (TIME: 10:00): Deep, weighty tones. Low drone represents the darkness of the deep tunnels within. A portcullis-type door opens at the beginning and closes with an echoing thud behind you. All of this is accompanied by the screams of tortured souls from deep within. You pass some boiling lava at one point and reach the wracked souls and demons near the end.
- Lost in the Labyrinth (TIME: 10:00): Heavy yet airy drone with whispery, high magical tones accompanied by a whistling wind. The drone feels foreboding at times, circling back and forth to symbolize confusion, assisted by a “wracking” sound like a quick bowing of a stringed instrument back-and-forth—it all combines to give you the feeling of being lost.
