The universe has died and been reborn a potentially infinite number of times, and today’s universe is just the latest of many iterations of reality. Gygamen are a rarity in the modern daythey are an ‘earlier draft’ of humanity, a breed of mankind from a previous universe. The few Gygamen encountered today slipped through cracks in reality to enter our current universe. Gygamen survived the unraveling and remaking of their universe by some strange fluke and ended up in what is, to them, an unimaginably distant alternate future.

Gygamen have a natural thirst for adventure, and the current universe seems to accommodate them. Though bold and courageous, with skills that verge on miraculous at times, Gygamen are more subject to the whims of fate than modern human adventurers. Gygamen take the tropes and design choices of the first generation roleplaying games that inspired the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and allow you to insert them into a modern campaign in a very unique way. Players who build Gygamen heroes are basically choosing to play through their campaign on Hard mode; Gygamen have unique flaws, but sometimes their unique racial traits and lust for life come in very, very handy.
