Cooper’s Compendium of Corrected Creatures: Troll Hunter and Owl Animal CompanionPublisher: Skirmisher Publishing

Are your game's Tarrasques and Thoqquas distinctly unobservant? Are your Vargouilles not as stealthy as they should be? Are your Wights not reaching their full potential? These are just a few of the monsters in the SRD that have significant errors in their stat blocks, bringing their mistakes into your game. But now Cooper's Compendium of Corrected Creatures fixes the problems you didn't even know your monsters had! This critical series of books by ENWorld staff reviewer and 3.5 rules guru John Cooper presents thoroughly revised and corrected stats for the myriad creatures in the v.3.5 SRD.

This sample booklet includes revised statistics for the Troll Hunter 6th-Level Ranger and his Owl Animal Companion; the former appears in Cooper's Compendium of Corrected Creatures: OGL Monster Stats T - Z (Tarrasque - Zombie), while the latter is unique to this publication.

This publication also contains an Introduction to the series by author John Cooper and a Foreword by series editor Shane O'Connor.

Features of the Cooper's Compendium of Corrected Creatures series overall include corrected stats for all the monsters in the v.3.5 SRD that address often-overlooked elements like skill synergy bonuses, size modifiers, and shapechanging abilities; stat blocks for OGL creatures described or referred to in the SRD but not given statistics there; improved organization of material, especially items not listed in the proper order; and "Cooper's Comments" sidebars throughout the volume, which explain specific changes and provide guidance on how to most effectively apply them in the game.

This book and the series of which it is part are designed to be an invaluable resource for OGL game masters, players, and publishers alike. It is fully bookmarked and designed to be printer-friendly and easy-to-use. Incorporating all official errata as well as corrections for errors that went unnoticed until now, this book presents the monsters from the SRD as they should be. Fix up your foes and run a better game with Cooper's Compendium of Corrected Creatures!

Races of NeoExodus: Enuka (5E)

Races of NeoExodus: Enuka (5E)Publisher: LPJ Design

The most primal and barbaric of the savage humanoids have nothing on the enuka. Enuka are ferocious creatures of the wild lands, animalistic predators blessed with humanoid form and intelligence. This combination has not softened their instincts for battle and the hunt, but it has given them a fatalistic warrior culture well suited to their savage nature. Most enuka are fierce, dour creatures, seeing the world through the lens of predator and prey, with their people at the top of the food chain. They are capable of surprising kindness and mirth toward their own and shocking brutality toward rivals. An enuka does not understand concepts such as mercy or pity, but neither is he malicious; he kills for food, for honor, or to send a message, not with the relish of the sadist but with the terrifying practicality of nature.

This sourcebook gives you everything you need to use the Enuka in the NeoExodus Campaign Setting as PC. Races of NeoExodus: Enuka includes:

  • History of the Enuka Personality, Physical Description, Relations, Alignment, Religion, Language, and Names

  • Enuka Traits and Racial Subtypes

Pilgrims to the Queen of the Gods aka All About Pilgrimages & CartographyPublisher: Board Enterprises

The Central Plains are known for their religious devotions.  The life goal for many is to be able to travel to the city of Parnania and visit the gorgeous cathedrals there.  One of the best ways to do that is to follow the Path of Saint Khasmir Chouwaska.  Covering about 50 miles over the course of five days, this pilgrimage hits some of the best miraculous sites and saints’ birth places in the region.

Follow the pilgrim’s path and learn about the religion, the people, and the culture of the Velesans of the Central Plains.  Though this is a pilgrimage for commoners and lay people, it is a great example of what the simple folk do.  Those same lessons work to help GMs and world builders as they lay out what the countrysides in their worlds look like as well.  After all, the same inns these pilgrims are using will also be used by adventurers passing through.

If this sounds like a dull topic to you, you’re not seeing it the way we do.  Not only do we get into how pilgrimages create magical items, but the pilgrimage itself is a cross between Chaucer, the myths of northern Europe, and Route 66.

If you’re looking for a ton of new ideas, ideas you can easily use in your existing game world or use to craft a new game world, then Small Bites is what you’re looking for.  Our goal is to take a subject, whether an archetype, a monster class, or some other FRPG theme and bring you as much content about it as we can.  But this isn’t a simple one-shot supplement.  We want to get you involved in the process - giving us the themes you want most, the articles you like the best, and the feedback we need to make you happy.

This is the “World Walker” edition.  The Game Master edition gives you even more, including ideas about campaigns, enemy characters, and world building.  We know that veteran and starting players and game masters are all going to find things they can use, and ideas to spark their characters, campaigns and game worlds!  Come on - You’ve got nothing to lose!

This supplement contains 19 pages of content, compared to the full version which contains 54 pages.

Dark ScaniaPublisher: White Wolf

Scania is the southernmost part of Sweden and while it is materially comfortable, free from both war and the worst excesses of need, it still has a cold and dark heart. The people here live lives of quiet desperation. It is a place filled with hypocrites and horrors lurking just beneath a polished surface of denial.

To the garou Scania is a fallen land. A place ruled fully by the Wyrm and the spiritual landscape burns with the dark power of the devourer. Garou, fera and even some humans can feel the Wyrms presence even in the mundane world.

While the Wyrm is the undisputed lord of the land, he is not one for ruling directly. Instead he has used his might to empower seven evil creatures to rule in his place. These are the Fear Masters. Dreadlords each holding a city that they use as a home and their seat of power.

There are no true garou left in Scania. Now, only the mockeries known as the the Skin Dancers hold caerns here.

Under Western Skies: 2D6 Adventure on America's FrontierPublisher: Michael Brown

The term “Wild West” conjures up images of square-jawed cowboys on horseback, watching over a cattle drive; steely-eyed lawmen facing down desperadoes; painted saloon girls carousing with rowdy guests; and stoic Indian tribesmen, watching their world slip away. The Wild West — that period of America’s history during its westward expansion in the latter half of the nineteenth century — was all that, and much more. Now, players using the 2D6 system can visit those thrilling (and often dangerous) days of yesteryear. Under Western Skies is an RPG supplement based on the Mongoose 1st Edition 2D6 OGL system (which is itself based on The Original Science-Fiction Roleplaying Game first published in the 1970s) and adapted to create heroes and adventures suitable for an Old West campaign.

Designed to “get out of the way and let you play”, the rules are minimalist and leave most of the creativity to the referee. Included are rules for character creation (using a now-familiar lifepath and skill acquisition mechanic); Indian tribe creation; equipment and weapon tables; a selection of vehicles and animals; and fast town creation. There are even rules to help you choose skill specialties, run the inevitable showdown at high noon, and determine what happens when you just as inevitably get sick or see that twister coming.

PLEASE NOTE: This is the original, 6-page version.

Under Western Skies. The West is as Wild as you make it.

300 Random Ability Scores for NPCsPublisher: Azukail Games

This supplement contains three sets of 100 hand-rolled - not computer generated - ability scores suitable for the World's Oldest Roleplaying Game and most derivatives or OSR games. These are perhaps best used for random NPCs for whom ability scores are quickly needed, rather than more important characters.

Each result has a list of six ability score values in the 3-18 range, followed by their total. The scores can be used in the order given or shuffled. The three different tables have the scores rolled in different ways. Table 1 uses the traditional roll 3d6 method. Table 2 rolled 4d6 and discarded the lowest die. Table 3 rolled 2d6 and added 6. Consequently, scores on Table 1 will generally be the lowest and those on Table 3 the highest.
